In the Hisar Talks series, this week, we will talk about Sudan, which was officially divided into two countries at the end of internal conflicts, and what happened after the division. With the Former Ambassador and Diplomat Abdullah Alazreg from Sudan, we will seek answers to the questions of what actually happened in Sudan, which has been on our agenda with significant changes in recent history.
Ambassador Abdullahi Alazreg holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and economics and a master’s degree in sociology from Lincoln University. He worked as an economist at the Ministry of Mining and Energy. He took part in the management of various NGOs. He held many diplomatic posts, notably Sudan’s Ambassador to the UK. He worked as undersecretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sudan. Besides his 30 years of diplomatic experience, Alazreg is the author of many articles and the book “ISIS: Management of Savagery”.
